Working as a sub-contractor:
a. You are responsible for the provision of your own plant, equipment, supplies and vehicles, generally.
b. You are responsible for the maintenance of your equipment to a standard required by law or function (this includes having sufficient spare batteries or chargers, and consumables).
c. You are paid to achieve an objective, or complete a task.
d. You are not bound to supply services to only our company, it is desirable that you work for a number of companies to ensure a flow of work.
e. You are responsible for your own income protection and medical insurance.
f. You must be independent thinkers, and problem solvers, who can deal with problems and adapt to changing conditions to achieve your objectives.  You must, however, keep us advised.
g. As a sub-contractor you are responsible to rectify any problems encountered during the provision of service (e.g. lost contact during surveillance, or client information that does not mesh with circumstances - fuzzy logic).  You must keep us advised of problems encountered and actions taken.
h. You must comply with instructions, or advise of the reason for varying the instructions (e.g. surveillance - raining, information wrong, original plan won't work because of conditions at site, no longer works there.  Bodyguard - traffic conditions changed, threat identified, etc.).
i. PLEASE NOTE: You must advise the team leader, operations manager or head office if you believe an operation has been compromised. This must be done at the same time as you are making an adjustments practical to rectify the situation (change location, change route, change vehicles etc), or as soon as practicable.

Sub-Contractors are responsible for their own licenses, insurance and liabilities.  It is recommended that you have medical insurance, income protection and travel insurance.  You must ensure vehicles are maintained (we also recommend NRMA, RACQ or similar extended cover for travelling and vehicle breakdowns).

You are responsible for your own safety, performance and work conditions.  Do not become involved in illegal activity, or compromise yourself.

DO NOT charge phantom hours, do not attempt to double bill for time to two clients.  This places both your, and our, reputations at risk.
